Biografia
Biomedical Engineering from Izmir Katip Celebi University in 2020/02/26, an MSc from Ege University, Turkey in 2022/09/22, and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. I worked as a project assistant in an interdisciplinary project on the development of a vagus nerve stimulator for the treatment of addictions during my MSc degree. I studied nerve stimulation and its effects on the brain, transcutaneous nerve stimulation, experimental design, signal acquisition, signal processing, polymer film, and electrochemical fabrication processes. I am doing my Ph.D. in the neuroscience area. I am studying decision-making processes under uncertainty, cognitive decline in healthy aging, and electroencephalograph (EEG) signal acquisition and pupil responses during reinforcement learning processes. In my curriculum Ciência Vitae the most frequent terms in the context of scientific, technological, and artistic-cultural output are: engineering; biomedical; neuroscience; and biomedical technologies.
