Theatre about Science: Theory and Practice

A segunda edição da Conferência Internacional Theatre about Science decorrerá no próximo ano de 2023, entre 9 e 11 de novembro na Universidade de Coimbra. Integra na sua Comissão Científica os investigadores do CEIS20 Mário Montenegro e Fernando Matos Oliveira.

São aceites contribuições tanto na área das artes performativas como de comunicação de ciência, e de natureza diversa – desde a investigação académica, a investigação artística até à performance. Também são acolhidas contribuições que explorem ligações do teatro com as ciências formais, naturais, sociais ou da saúde. Encoraja-se a participação de pessoas de todo o globo, com o objetivo de mapear e expandir a rede de pessoas a trabalhar neste campo interdisciplinar.

The second edition of the International Conference Theatre about Science will take place next year, between November 9 and 11, at the University of Coimbra. CEIS20 researchers Mário Montenegro and Fernando Matos Oliveira are part of its Scientific Committee.

We welcome contributions ranging from the performing arts to the communication of science, and of diverse nature - from academic to practical research and performance. We also welcome contributions exploring connections of theatre with formal, natural, health and social sciences.

We encourage participants from all over the globe, with the aim of mapping and expanding the network of people working in this interdisciplinary field.
