Objetivo temático: STROBE+ aims to promote the use of HSS as a robust, mature and cost efficient technology to meet the coming EU environmental regulations.

Síntese do Projeto: STROBE+ will disseminate new design guidance for high-strength steel (HSS), which has been developed over the last few years, primarily developed in RFCS-funded research (STROBE, HILONG, OPTIBRI, RUOSTE, HITUBES, HSS-SERF), to allow for its wider and more effective use in civil engineering structures. The project actions are mostly focused on providing material for design purposes. STROBE + aims to accelerate the uptake of HSS use in steel construction from the current 5% to 12% after 10 years of the project implementation and 1250 jobs generated in 10 years. New high skilled engineers, welders and others.
