Universidad National de San Luis (UNSL) is an argentine public university which was
established in 1973 in the city of San Luis. It has 8 faculties, and provides a wide array of titles: 45 bachelor degree careers, 11 phDs and 11 master's degree careers. and 7 research institutes, 197 research projects and around 700 researchers. The Mining Department, at the Facultad de Ciencias Fisico, Matematicas y Naturales, Red de Investigadores para el estudio de Pasivos Ambientales Mineros in cooperation with other universities. Our research group has developed research and innovation activities in the field of this call, such as:
1) Hydro and biohydrometallurgy treating (pyrites and marcasite);
2) Mining and metallurgical waste water treatment;
3) Metals separation;
4) Gold hydrometallurgy;
5) Mining Engineering Education.
