Multimodal neuroimaging in First Episode Psychosis: the quest for biomarkers of treatment response.

The present study will investigate differences in measures of functional connectivity and neurochemistry between First Episode Psychosis treatment responders and nonresponders using multimodal neuroimaging approaches (fMRI, PET, and [1H-MRS]). It also aims to use the neuroimaging data obtained to predict individual response to treatment by applying machine-learning algorithms in order to pave the way for the development of personalized treatment strategies.
