How to Apply
Any public or private Scientific User wishing to use BIN equipment can request the use of this national infrastructure.
The interested user must submit a project proposal through Eurobioimaging page (select Portugal map > BIN node > Technology needed). After analyzing the proposal, a project number will be assigned as well as the number of scan hours to be reserved by the user.

General Conditions of Use
The usage time will be paid based on the number of hours of use of the equipment and the type of equipment used.
The conduct of pilot studies, must obey the rules of submission of the project proposal and will be paid according to the referenced values for usage costs, being weighted case by case, the execution of simple validation tests.
In the event of technical problems attributable to BIN during the sessions, they will be scheduled for another opportune date with no usage costs for the User. All technical problems that arise must be reported on a specific form (Failure Reporting Form) completed, jointly, by an BIN officer and the User.
Cancellation of sessions is possible as long as they are carried out 48 hours in advance, after this period, BIN reserves the right not to refund the User and may apply cancellation fees.
