Guest Lecture with Elisa Zamboni
We welcomed Elisa Zamboni, from the School of Psychology of the University of Nottingham, to a joint lab to present her recent work using high-resolution functional imaging at ultra-high and clinically relevant field strength to investigate visual processing in the human brain. From the layer-resolved circuitry underlying sensory adaptation, to the functional organisation of visual features such as curvature, Elisa Zamboni presented how combining advanced acquisition methods with layer-specific analyses can help us unlock how visual information is represented and processed across spatial (and temporal) scales in the brain.
