Science Communication
The CogBooster Science Communication team aims to plant the seeds for a cultural reform on how citizens see Psychology as a science.
Our communication strategy is focused on increasing our presence in major media outlets, and sharing our science to society, promoting CogBooster and the ERA Chair Holder Alfonso Caramazza and his Team among the community, by implementing outreach activities.
To accomplish these goals, we engage with society through different platforms. Some of our tasks include:
- Sharing our findings with local and national media;
- Spreading opinion pieces in newspapers;
- Interacting with society through digital channels such as our website and social media profiles;
- Promoting researchers visits to local schools and school visits to our facilities;
- Participating in outreach projects and events such as the European Researchers' Night and the Brain Awareness Week;
- Organizing events to bring science closer to society, such as the Neuroscience Appetizers: science talks in informal social environments;
- Organizing a series of debates on the role of Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, and fundamental science on a knowledge-based society.
