Route from Montpellier to Turin

This section is a challenge because you have to cross the Alps. Several railroads do the crossing, but the one that takes you more directly to Torino is closed for maintenance until late 2025 (more info). Other options would be too far to the south or to the north.

Unpaved roads could be unsuitable for certain types of bikes and/ or tires with wet conditions. Consider taking a train if available or the main road.
