What is Academica Start UC?
Académica Start UC is the University of Coimbra's Network of Ambassadors for Entrepreneurship, better known as ASUC.
It was created by the University of Coimbra (UC) and the Coimbra Academic Association (AAC) in the 2016/2017 academic year, with the support of Santander Universidades.
It is a recognised programme for the training of young leaders, in which students representing the 26 nuclei of the AAC, along with five PhD students, are trained for a year with the aim of raising awareness among their peers of issues associated with Innovation and Entrepreneurship by promoting a policy of proximity and carrying out local initiatives. Each year the winners are honoured with an international course in entrepreneurship.
