The article “Ex-ante life cycle assessment framework and application to a nano-reinforced biopolymer film based on manga kernel” (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.resconrec.2022.106637), authored by researchers Jade Müller Carneiro, Carla Rodrigues and Fausto Freire, from CIE, and researchers from the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), is available online in the journal Resources, Conservation and Recycling (IF: 13.716).
The work is an approach to assess the environmental impacts of biopolymers in early stages of development (TRL 3-5) and the result of the SET-LCA project (CENTRO-01-0145-FE00570), which has a collaboration between CIE/ADAI, Embrapa and INESC.
