Portuguese consortium develops innovative protective device for medical care in the context of a pandemic

ADAI-LAETA research team, led by Professor Manuel Gameiro da Silva, participates in a Portuguese Consortium that develops innovative protective device for medical care in the context of a pandemic.
The device, already with a patent application submitted to the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), was developed within the scope of the “MASK4MC – Mask for Medical Care” project, led by SETsa and financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), through the Portugal 2020 Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program.
