The University of Coimbra, in collaboration with the University of Minho, organized the biennial meeting of the European Association of Chinese Studies.
The event, which took place in Braga from the 22nd to the 24th of July and in Coimbra on the 25th and 26th of July 2015, was organized by Professor Carmen Amado Mendes and was attended by hundreds of lecturers dedicated to Chinese studies.
For the first time in Portugal, the conference also included an exhibition of photographs at the UC's Casa da Lusofonia and the donation of books to the University of Coimbra, organized by the International Institute of Macau.
