On March 21st 2014, the University of Coimbra (UC) received the visit of a delegation from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), inlcuding, among others, its Vice-President, Professor Wang Zhen, and the Director of the Shanghai Policy Making and Consulting Committee Office, Mr. Li Ren. The delegation was received by Professor Carmen Amado Mendes, Professor in the School of Economics.
The visit aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the SASS and the UC in issues related to land management and urban planning.
