The Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra (ASL-UC) and the Santo Amaro University (UNISA) promote the UC-UNISA International Conference “Sustainable Development” on March 18, 2021, with the support of the Superior Court of Justice of Brazil.

The conference will take place in an online format and will feature the participation of high-ranking figures from the Portuguese-speaking world. It includes panels on “Climate Action”, “Sustainability and New Technologies”, “Decent Work, Economic Growth and Reducing Inequalities” and “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”.

The opening session will start at 1:00 pm in mainland Portugal (10:00 am Brasília time), with interventions by the Director of the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the UC, Rui de Figueiredo Marcos, the Rector of the University Santo Amaro, Luciane Lúcio Pereira, and the Rector of the University of Coimbra, Amílcar Falcão.
