July 5, 2021 - Auditorium of the Trinity College
The Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra (ASL-UC) and the Portuguese Council for the Brain (CPC) promote on July 5, 2021 the Conference "Brain and Language".
The opening session will be led by the Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni of the University of Coimbra, João Nuno Calvão Silva, and the President of the Board of the Portuguese Brain Council, António Freire Gonçalves, and the closing session will be presided by the Pro-Rector of the University of Coimbra for Health and Bioethics, José Pedro Figueiredo.
The conference starts at 2:15 pm and ends at 5:45 pm, followed by a brief musical moment by the “Ensemble of the Orquestra Clássica do Centro”, and the 14th edition of the Casa da Lusofonia Talks cycle, under the theme “Conversation with Professor Linhares Furtado".
