CASS-UC Forum “The Future of Sino-Portuguese and Sino-European Cooperation”
On May 25, 2021, a Forum on “The Future of Sino-Portuguese and Sino-European Cooperation” was held in a hybrid format. The Forum was co-organized by the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra (ASL-UC) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), through the CASS-UC Centre of China Studies.
The opening session had speeches by the Vice-President of CASS, Wang Linggui, the Ambassador of China to Portugal, Zhao Bentang, the Ambassador of Portugal to China, José Augusto Duarte, and of the Rector of the UC, Amílcar Falcão.
Also part of the programme was the launch of the Chinese version of the book The Coimbra Faculty of Law in Retrospective《科英布拉大学法学院历史回顾》, written by Rui de Figueiredo Marcos, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Director of ASL-UC, being presented by João Nuno Calvão da Silva, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni of the UC.
The Forum was held at the Senate Room of the Rectory of the University of Coimbra, restricted to the participants.
