On 15 December 2023, a tribute session to Guerra Junqueiro was held in the Senate Room of the University of Coimbra (UC) on the occasion of the centenary of his death.
The event, organised by the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the UC, featured speeches by the Executive Director of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins; the President of the Interuniversity Centre for Camonian Studies, José Carlos Seabra Pereira; and the President of the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra, Rui de Figueiredo Marcos.
The session was opened by the UC Vice-Rector for Culture, Communication and Open Science, Delfim Leão, and closed by the UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni, João Nuno Calvão da Silva.
