Training course in Legistics for Mozambique's National Electoral Commission

From 18 to 22 March 2024, the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra organised an Advanced Training Course in Legistics for 12 members of Mozambique's National Electoral Commission (CNE), with the participation of UC experts.

In addition to a speech by João Nuno Calvão da Silva, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni of the UC, the consing session of the training course included lectures on "The importance of legistics in the Democratic Rule of Law", by the Director of the Faculty of Law, Jónatas Machado, and on "Relations between Portugal and Mozambique: economy, society and academia", by the President of the Portugal Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, Rui Moreira de Carvalho.
