UC attends the Annual Conference of GISU in Guangzhou

From October 30 to November 1, 2019, the University of Coimbra (UC) participated in the Annual Conference of the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities (GISU), in Guangzhou, China.

The UC was represented by Professor Rui de Figueiredo Marcos, Director of the Sino-Lusophone Academy and the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, and by Professor Cristina Zhou, Executive Director of the Confucius Institute of the University of Coimbra, of the CASS-UC Centre of China Studies and of the BFSU-UC Centre for China-Portuguese Speaking Countries.

UC is one of the founding members of GISU, which promotes cooperation between universities in sister-cities of Guangzhou, to enhance in-depth and creative development of education, scientific research and cultural exchanges.
