PhD Scholarships in the BIOBASED2UC project [Expression of Interest]
The European project BIOBASED2UC – “Exploring novel bio-based materials and their applications in conservation and restoration with a new interdisciplinary team”, funded by the European Research Executive Agency, will soon open two PhD scholarships in the field of bio-based materials development, focusing on nanocellulose and nanocellulose films and their applications.
Although the official call will be launched soon, the project is already collecting expressions of interest from potential candidates.
Preferred areas of background: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Engineering
Host institution: Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Coimbra
Expected duration: 4 years
Funding: Monthly scholarship, tuition fees, and project-related costs
