Training

The BIOBASED2UC project proudly presents its Excellence in Research Training Series, a comprehensive programme designed to equip the next generation of researchers with the knowledge, skills, and strategic vision required to thrive in today’s competitive scientific landscape.

Far beyond traditional lectures, this training series offers a structured and forward-looking learning experience that bridges scientific excellence, research leadership, innovation, and funding strategy.

The programme is organised into four complementary training blocks:

Block 1 – Scientific Knowledge & State of the Art: Exploring cutting-edge developments, emerging trends, and scientific challenges in bio-based and sustainable solutions.

Block 2 – Research Management & Implementation: Providing practical guidance on project design, execution, collaboration, and strategic research planning.

Block 3 – Research Valorisation & Impact: Focusing on innovation pathways, knowledge transfer, intellectual property, and transforming research into societal and economic value.

Block 4 – Research Funding & Career Development: Offering insights into European funding opportunities, proposal preparation, and building a sustainable research career.

The sessions will take place between 1 March and 31 May 2026, with each lecture lasting approximately 2 hours.
