Biografia
Adelino Gonçalves has a degree and PhD in Architecture from the University of Coimbra (UC). He is an Associate Professor at the UC Department of Architecture, where he is responsible for Urbanism curricular units of the Integrated Master's Degree in Architecture and the Integrated Urban Rehabilitation Master's Degree, of which he is the Coordinator. He is a researcher at the Centre for Architectural Studies - from Territory to Design and a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Geography and Spatial Planning Studies. His research focuses on urban policies and territorial development. It has been built on an integrated reading of the challenges of cohesion, with a focus on urban regeneration and the valorisation of urbanistic heritage. On these issues, he has authored and co-authored several publications. He has participated in various events as a guest speaker in a scientific context and organised outside academia.
