Isabelle Freitas (1990) is an architect and teacher of descriptive geometry. She works in the Humanities field, focusing on the scientific areas of Arts, with an emphasis on Architecture and Design. She completed her Integrated Master's in Architecture in 2016 at the University of Coimbra-Faculty of Sciences and Technology, defending her dissertation titled "What Happened to the General Urbanization Plans? Options and Trends in the Location and Spatial Organization of Industry: Towns and Medium Cities (1930s-1970s)". Currently, she is enrolled in the Coimbra Studio program for the 2022/2023 academic year as part of her doctoral studies at the University of Coimbra-Department of Architecture. She is also a research member of the project "Landscape Together," which has been ongoing in cooperation with the University of Coimbra since January 2023. This project aims to create innovative contributions for the enhancement of low-density territories in the interior of Portugal, which characterizes the architect's research interests. In her Ciência Vitae curriculum, the most frequent terms related to her scientific, technological, and artistic production are: General Urbanization Plans, Architecture, Urbanism, and Sustainability.
