Biografia
Joana Mendes Correia was born in Coimbra in 1998. She holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Coimbra (2022). From 2021 to 2023, she collaborated with the atelier Orange Arquitetura, and from 2023 to 2024 with the Archigraphics–Studio. She is currently developing joint projects with both studios. In 2022, she co-founded Ensaio Atelier, where she develops architectural projects with Pedro Gustavo Cardoso. Since 2024, she has been part of the Intervention and Research Project for the Rehabilitation of José Falcão Secondary School, coordinated by the architects João Mendes Ribeiro and Gonçalo Canto Moniz, at the Center for Architecture Studies – from Territory to Design (ceArq-TD) of the University of Coimbra.
