Biografia

She completed her Pre-Bologna PhD at the University of Coimbra in 2013 and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from DARQ-FCTUC in 2002. She has been an Assistant Professor at DARQ-FCTUC since 1998. She served as the Coordinator of International Mobility from 2018 to 2021 and as the Deputy Director of that organizational unit from November 2021 to November 2023. She is the author of several books and book chapters, as well as various articles in national and international journals and conference proceedings. She has been an invited speaker and moderator at various academic and scientific events and has also collaborated in organizing other scientific initiatives and knowledge dissemination activities. Her scientific production has been recognized with the André Jordan Award in 2014 (honorable mention) and the Santander UC Award for Pedagogical Innovation for 2021-2022. In her professional activities, she has collaborated with 35 co-authors on scientific works. She has supervised one completed doctoral thesis (2021) and is currently supervising two others. She has also supervised and co-supervised several master's dissertations at DARQ-FCTUC. Since 2018, she has been a researcher at CiTUA - Center for Innovation in Territory, Urbanism, and Architecture (IST-UL), and since 2016, she has been an Associate Researcher at CES-UC. She was a researcher in the project "SANTACRUZ: 3D Digital Reconstruction of the Santa Cruz Monastery in Coimbra in 1834" (PTDC/ART-DAQ/30704/2017) and collaborated on the project "(EU)ROPA: Rise of Portuguese Architecture" (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-030492), both funded by FCT and FEDER through COMPETE 2020.
