Sérgio Andrade Carvalho is a Clinical and Health Psychologist, specialising in Clinical Sexology from the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology, with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and a PhD researcher integrated into CINEICC under an Individual CEEC contract (2021.01871.CEECIND). His research focuses on the psychological processes of risk and protection in the mental health of different populations throughout their development, with a special focus on the mental health of populations with chronic diseases and/or socially marginalised populations. He develops and evaluates face-to-face and digital psychological interventions based on contextual-behavioural therapies, with a special interest in Social Clinical Psychology. He is the principal investigator of a project funded by FCT (2023.13402.PEX) and a project funded by the BIAL Foundation (Grant: 132/24), and is the author of more than 50 international articles, books, and chapters.

Patrícia M. Pascoal, psychotherapist, psychotherapy supervisor, specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology certified by the Ministry of Health, sex therapist. She is a guest lecturer at the School of Psychology of Lusófona University and at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. She is a member of the Portuguese Association of Behavioural Therapy and the European Federation of Sexology and is responsible for the Education Committee of the International Society for Sexual Medicine. She is a member of the editorial boards of several scientific journals in the field of Sexuality and Clinical Psychology/Mental Health. She chaired the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology. She is a researcher at HeiLab and a collaborator at ISAMB and CPUP.

Dina De Jesus Peixoto De Carvalho holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Minho, a Master's degree in Sociology, specialising in Health, from the same university, and a PhD in Sociology of Culture, Knowledge and Communication from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra. She has been involved in teaching, scientific production and the development of management and intervention projects in the field of Sociology, Sociology of Health and Communication. She has been a researcher at the Research Centre of the Faculty of Arts of Porto - Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto since January 2023. In the 2025/2026 academic year, she is a guest assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Beira Interior and an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, in the School of Business Sciences and the School of Sport and Leisure.
