Abstract
The project consists of two parts: an exploratory part that aims to map Europe's islands - from the North Sea to the South Pacific - and organise them in terms of their socio-political circumstances. In the first phase, after their exhaustive identification, the aim is to collect fundamental bibliography on each of them, with the aim of adopting a grid capable of making sense of the diversity and heterogeneity that characterises the European island universe.
Once the materials have been compiled and collected, they will be studied, organised and processed with a view to reflecting on the concepts of autonomy, heteronomy, sub-sovereignty and ultra-periphery.
