Amanda Moura da Costa

Amanda Costa is a PhD student in Cultural Heritage and Museology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). Collaborating researcher in Group 1 - History, Memory and Public Policies of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Coimbra (CEIS20/UC). Her doctoral project is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through the Doctoral Scholarship with the title "Museology on the memory of the Holocaust: cultural heritage policies and current debates on political violence, memory and transitional processes". Master in Cultural Heritage and Museology, in the field of Museology, from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and degree in Philosophy from the University of Minho (UMinho). Amanda's research interests include the modalities of patrimonialization of memories of dictatorships, mass violence and genocides, as well as their implications in the context of transitional processes.
