João Filipe Pereira de Sousa

João de Sousa has a master's in Contemporary History from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). He graduated from the same institution in History with a minor in European Studies. He obtained his master’s degree in 2022 after presenting the dissertation entitled The Political Opposition to the New State Regime in the Archipelago of Madeira. The electoral periods and the action of the newspaper ‘Comércio do Funchal’ (1945-1974). The same year, he was a speaker at the II Meeting of Young Researchers in Humanities and Social Sciences, organised at FLUC. He presented a paper at the symposium Castelo do Neiva talking about History.
