PhD in Information Sciences and Documentation from the University of Évora (2016) with the research entitled The Social Mission of the Public Library: a vision of Portuguese public libraries from Facebook. Master in Information Science (2011). Postgraduate in Documentary Sciences (1992). Degree in Philosophy (1985).Researcher at CIDEHUS - Centro Interdisciplinar de História, Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade de Évora; CEIS20-Universidade de Coimbra. Higher Technician (Library and Documentation area) at Alberto Sampaio Municipal Archive, Municipality of V.N. Famalicão. He was Head of Division of Culture between 1999 and 2006, directive functions in the Municipal Library of V.N. de Famalicão and technical functions in the Casa de Camilo - Museum and Study Center. She previously worked in the Mobile Cultural Heritage Inventory (Public Library of Braga) and in the Municipality of Porto, in the Municipal Public Library and in the Historical Archives. She was a lecturer at the Post-Graduation in Documentary Sciences, Universidade Portucalense, Porto and at ESEIG-IPP in the graduation in Documentation and Information Sciences and Technologies. She has published articles in specialized journalsand in various coordination books and scientific papers presented in national and international congresses. She belongs to the coordination team of the Working Group of Information Systems in Museums - BAD. She is amember of the Professional sector for the three-year period 2021-2023 in the Nacional Directive Council of the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Information and Documentation Professionals.
