This Workshop will be held within the scope of the activities of the European Biorural Project by the University of Coimbra (UC) and the Center for Biomass for Energy (CBE) in collaboration with the National Hortofrutículo Operative and Technological Center (COTHN). The objectives of the Workshop are to present the Biorural Project and its preliminary results, encourage debate regarding the sustainability of Brazilian rural areas and bring together actors from different areas of social organization to work together and propose more circular alternatives to current production models.
