2nd edition of the Environmental Monitors Course comes to an end!

The 2nd edition of the Environmental Monitors Course in non-formal spaces took place between the 15th and 19th of July 2024, which included a group of 18 students from different areas of study.

This Course, which took place at the Center for Higher Studies of the University of Coimbra in Alcobaça and lasted 25 hours, sought to identify the environmental factors that affect the health and well-being of living beings in the environment, such as air quality, water, soil and food.

The training included 2 Field Trips to the Blue Flag Beaches of the Municipality of Alcobaça, namely São Martinho do Porto, on July 16th, and Paredes da Vitória, on July 18th.

We would like to thank Professor Leonel Pereira and Professor António Xavier Coutinho for their collaboration and participation in yet another edition of the Course, as well as all the trainees, without exception.
