The Children and Youth Library is a universe of “enchanted” stories for children and young readers eager for adventure and discovery, where you can “let your imagination run wild.” Here, books come to life and their characters become magical. With a vast collection of tales, fables and colorful illustrations, it is possible to stimulate curiosity and a love of reading, inspiring generations to explore, learn and dream. |

The Alcobaça Environmental Education and Interpretation Center is a space dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and the importance of preserving nature. Through interactive exhibitions and hands-on activities, we seek to engage visitors in exploring local ecosystems, highlighting the region's rich biodiversity and the challenges facing sustainability. |
50 x April Exhibition “Is there still a story to tell?”

This was the question that set the tone for the exhibition. Its preparation involved an attempt to bring together small stories so that everyone can visit (or revisit) a before and after of an event that this year, 2024, marks 50 years: The Democratic Revolution. In total, the exhibition has 50 objects: 44 of them come from the collection of the 25 de Abril Documentation Center at the University of Coimbra, three belong to the General Library of the University of Coimbra and another three come from private collections.
