Coimbra Bauhaus is the officially recognised New European Bauhaus (NEB) Local Chapter for the Coimbra Region, acknowledged by the European Commission. Coordinated by the University of Coimbra, Coimbra Bauhaus brings together academic institutions, public authorities, cultural organisations, civil society actors and industry to foster regional collaboration around the core NEB values of sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics.
Coimbra Bauhaus aims to promote dialogue, co-creation and experimentation at territorial level, supporting innovative projects and initiatives that reconnect communities with nature, strengthen a sense of belonging, and contribute to more inclusive, sustainable and beautiful living environments across the Coimbra Region.
