Coordination of the 3rd cycle: Nuno Grande (Coordinator) and Rui Lobo (Vice-coordinator)
The PhD Program in Architecture includes an academic part - CoimbraStudio - with 60 ECTS and the preparation of a PhD Thesis with 120 ECTS, for a total of 180 ECTS.
The academic part includes a series of seminars in the areas of Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism, Cultural Studies and Architecture and Culture and City Design. The three inaugural lectures will be given by leading figures in the global field of Architecture and the other three discussion sessions will be reserved for doctoral students.
Classes will take place on Fridays and Saturdays during the months of October-December 2024 (1st semester) and April-June 2025 (2nd semester).
