Coordination of the 3rd Cycle: Nuno Grande (Coordinator) and Rui Lobo (Vice-Coordinator)
The PhD Programme in Architecture includes a taught component — CoimbraStudio — worth 60 ECTS, and the development of a Doctoral Thesis worth 120 ECTS, for a total of 180 ECTS.
The taught component comprises a series of seminars in the fields of Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism, Cultural Studies and Architecture, and Urban Culture and Design. The three inaugural lectures will be delivered by leading figures in the global field of Architecture, while the remaining three discussion sessions will be reserved for the PhD candidates.
