On October 7, 2025, the donation of a collection to the Library of the Department of Architecture was formalized by Michael Kiene, from the University of Cologne, and Rui Lobo. The collection, titled Die Alben von Jakob Ignaz Hittorff, comprises eight hardcover volumes, of which the first is authored and/or co-authored by Hittorff, published by the Universitäts- und Stadtbibliothek Köln between 1996 and 2024. The volumes were received by the Library coordinator, Pedro Maurício Borges.
