Protocol signed between UC and the Municipality of Coimbra

On June 18, 2024, the City Council and the University of Coimbra signed a cooperation agreement between the Coimbra Municipal Archive and the UC Department of Architecture. The aim is to preserve the memory and produce knowledge in the fields of architecture and urbanism in the city and region of Coimbra. The contract was signed by the Rector of the UC, Amílcar Falcão, and the Mayor, José Manuel Silva, at a ceremony held at the Colégio das Artes. In the same context, the Coimbra Novelle Vague research project coordinated by José António Bandeirinha, Luís Miguel Correia, Nuno Correia, Bruno Gil, and Martinho Araújo was presented.
