In January 2000, he obtained his PhD with the thesis The Field of Art, According to Marcel Duchamp. He represented DARQ on the commission created in 2007 that led to the establishment of the bachelor's and master's degrees in Design and Multimedia (in collaboration with the Department of Computer Engineering). The conceptual relationships developed in his research/artistic production led to the use of various expressive means such as painting, music, and video, a path strongly connected to performance. He has held solo exhibitions and performances in Portugal, Spain, Germany, the USA, France, and the Netherlands. The plural nature of his artistic activity enhances transdisciplinarity, reflected in the relationships he establishes in teaching between visual arts and architecture.
