This text seeks, on the one hand, to understand the artistic and professional journey of Leslie Martin and, on the other hand, to assess the contribution made by the Centre for Land Use and Built Form Studies, created in 1967 by Leslie Martin and Lionel March in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and History of Art at the University of Cambridge. It also evaluates the relevance of the work of these pioneers.
