This publication gathers the collection of texts produced in the context of the Encontros de Tomar – the First Meeting on the Teaching of Architecture at the University of Coimbra, held in Tomar in March 1995. It is released in anticipation of a second Meeting, to be held in Coimbra on the 6th and 7th of June, 1997. Divided into three chapters – Reports, Communications, and Notes on... – this document compiles, respectively: the minutes of the four working sessions, the presentations prepared in advance and delivered during the Meetings, and a concluding text proposed by the Organizing Committee.
