A Igreja da Fortaleza de São João Batista: caracterização e definição de uma estratégia de intervenção
Sinopse
The intervention in monumental and everyday cultural heritage buildings is currently a subject of renewed interest both in professional practice and in academic settings. Taking care of the legacy built by the generations that preceded us, reclaiming it for the present based on an intergenerational commitment supported by the sharing of cultural, social, historical, and economic sustainability values, is both stimulating and captivating. This was the challenge posed by Prof. Raimundo Mendes da Silva to all those who participated in the research project that was part of the technical-scientific support for the rehabilitation project of the Church of São João Batista, located in Angra do Heroísmo, Monte Brasil, Terceira Island, Azores.
