Sinopse
In the recent history of Portuguese architecture, we aim to understand the acting processes that, implicit in the formulation of architectural solutions, reveal a unique form of knowledge that can be considered specifically Portuguese. It seems to us that in moments of transformation, such as the transition from the 19th to the 20th century, where systems of production and thought underwent profound changes, we can find an ideal field of work to study the possible specificity of Portuguese "doing," given the gap between the development of the country and the rest of Europe.
