Sinopse
This publication records the academic works developed during the 2021-2022 academic year within the scope of the Project II curricular unit, the second year of the Integrated Master's in Architecture. The exercise initially proposes the requalification and consolidation of the upper part of Coimbra, specifically the block that includes the Colégio de São Jerónimo, the Colégio das Artes (current facilities of the Department of Architecture), and the Pombaline Chemical Laboratory. In the second phase, the proposal is to develop an extension of the Colégio das Artes: a library for the Darq.
The graphic elements that record the students' works encompass various scales worked on. Their nature is equally variable, ranging from sketches, drawings, and study models to intermediate stages and final submissions. The aim is not to emphasize the final results of the proposed solutions, but to understand them as vehicles for the development of thought and project tools.
