Accessible Landscapes | Self-Building in Wood
Between September 25 and October 5, the Accessible Landscapes | Self-Building in Wood Workshop took place at DARQ, coordinated by Catarina Pires from Associação Há Baixa and Susana Lobo, professor at DARQ. The workshop also featured guest speakers João Gomes from ESAD and Mafalda Pinto from Acesso Cultura, with mentoring by Catarina Parente, David Sarmento, Diogo Rodrigues, Frederico Martinho, Pedro Brígida, Pedro Martins, and Pedro Pousada. The workshop resulted in four installations that can be seen throughout the city: Largo do Romal: a common table; Colégio das Artes: a type of tower; Rua da Matemática: a re/public(ano) portal; Jardim da Imprensa da Universidade de Coimbra: an embrace for the camphor tree.
