The FCTUC Department of Earth Sciences, in its strategic vision, considers that the completion of internships for integration into working life by its students is a way of creating skills that facilitate future professional insertion.
Students are expected to carry out work in companies and organizations, with tutorial support, either by teachers or by professionals from the host entity of the internship, responding to the challenges posed and in the search for solutions.
With this enriching experience, students acquire skills such as problem solving, practical application of theoretical knowledge, group work with understanding of the language of other specialists, adaptability to new situations and critical thinking.
