On September 14 (Sunday), researcher Verónica Ferreira, from the Department of Life Sciences, will lead the interpretative walk “Riparian vegetation – importance and curiosities”.
The event will take place on the right bank of the Mondego River, at the Parque Verde (next to the bear statue), starting at 10 a.m. It is part of the Ecology Day 2025 celebrations, promoted nationwide by the Portuguese Ecological Society (SPECO).
Participation is free of charge and does not require prior registration – interested participants are only asked to show up at the meeting point.
