On June 4th, the second lecture by renowned historian Jason W. Moore will take place in the DCV auditorium, entitled "Anthropocene, Capitalocene & Proletarocene on the 'Real Ground of Historu': towards a labour Theory of Life".

This is the second lecture that marks the creation of the Laboratory of Critical Studies of the Anthropocene of CIAS - Research Center in Anthropology and Health, DCV, University of Coimbra

Jason W. Moore is a professor of world history at Binghamton University, where he coordinates the World-Ecology Research Collective. His books and essays on class, capital, and empire in the web of life have received numerous international awards, including the Alice Hamilton Prize in environmental history, the Byres & Bernstein Prize in agrarian studies, the Braverman Prize in labor studies, and the Immanuel Wallerstein Prize.
