Three students from the Physics Department have received scholarships from the Gulbenkian New Talents Scholarship in Physics program.
According to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, this program aims to detect and support the talent of exceptional students and stimulate the initiation of research in the areas of basic science: biology, physics, mathematics and chemistry, and in any area of the humanities and social sciences. The scholarships also include an immersive talent enrichment program, with mentoring and monitoring by a Scientific Committee, thus creating an opportunity to transform potential talent into exceptional and innovative performance.
